This program is designed to enable Year 7 students to make connections across the traditional courses of English, History and Geography and to establish critical thinking skills. Students develop an understanding of their learning styles, strengths, interests and strategies to become more effective learners. Through an emphasis on cooperative, self-directed learning and thinking skills, students develop the ability to effectively transform knowledge and gain a deeper understanding of themselves and their place in the world. Students undertake practical experiences such as field work and site studies and participate in a variety of excursions and incursions.
