Rosebank Celebrates another Milestone in its Sesquicentenary Year

On Friday 1 September, Rosebank College officially blessed and opened Downside Hall, the newest facility on its campus.

Downside Hall includes a new staff and administration block, along with 11 classrooms, a formal entry into the College and direct connection with the rest of the school.

The Most Reverend Anthony Fisher OP, Archbishop of Sydney, presided over the blessing, while The Hon Craig Laundy MP and Dom Leo Maidlow Davis, the Prior Administrator at Downside Abbey in England, opened the building. The building’s name acknowledges the College’s ties with Downside Abbey in England which was established in 1814.
